About Anabel

Hi!!! I'm currently a graduate student studying Speech-Language Pathology, and I've been working with children for about 8 years. I started as an after-school group leader, later became a school aide, and most recently worked as a paraprofessional. In that role, I supported children with different learning and developmental needs, including children on the autism spectrum. These experiences have taught me how important patience, flexibility, and understanding are when working with children. I'm someone who really takes the time to get to know each child. I understand that every child is different, and I'm comfortable adjusting my approach based on what makes them feel comfortable, happy, and supported. I also know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the person caring for their children, so I'm dependable, communicative, and respectful of each family's routines and expectations.
