I have over 31 years in healthcare primarily focusing on seniors. I have active certification in medication/med management, diabetes and wound care. I am also a Certified Death Doula, Certified Dementia Practitioner, Certified herbalist and a Certified Clinical Psychologist. 

I specialize in all angles of geriatrics. From end of life care, Alzheimer's/Dementia, ALS, Parkinson's disease, MS, Ostomy care and diabetes (but not limited to these areas).

My hours are flexible and I'm willing to work with families as their needs may grow. I have a 50 mile radius that I'm willing to travel to meet the needs of your loved one.

Amie was amazing and caring for me after my surgery. She’s a very comforting and calming presence and took care of all my needs. 

Initially, Aime seemed great. She met with my and they agreed upon a start date. Aime did not respond to messages and did not show up for the agreed upon start date.  This was very confusing for my mother and extremely disappointing, not to mention, she was left without care.  It would have been fine if she did not want the job, but that should have been communicated. Unfortunately, this was my first experience using this platform and has eroded my trust in care.com's services.

I hired Amie to care for my father, who had heart failure and dementia, from March 2026 until his passing in July 2026.

During that time, Amie was kind, caring, and attentive to my father&#39;s needs. She prepared healthy meals, made his favorite desserts, and provided companionship that he genuinely enjoyed. My father looked forward to her visits and appreciated the time they spent together.

Amie was knowledgeable about dementia and end-of-life care, and her experience was helpful as we navigated my father&#39;s changing needs. She was also present during his final moments and provided a calming presence during a very difficult time.

Amie and her partner stayed with our bedbound daughter twice, and we looked forward to their helping us with a 6-day trip to see family abroad as their third job. When we wrote to Amie to confirm timing for the days she had agreed upon over a month in advance, she replied days later--shortly before our trip-with a pre-formatted, perfunctory message stating fees that were nearly triple what our ill daughter is able to pay per hour. Amie had agreed to the pricing we set for this and other trips with a "thumbs up" symbol, and "Yes, we are able to cover those times" 6 weeks beforehand. We initially thought the price increase message was a mistake, given we'd already worked with her, but there was no introduction or other context; very impersonal. When we inquired about it, lots of vague wording ensued, but the bottom line is that she decided she wanted more money and claimed to not have agreed to earlier pricing (we have texts showing otherwise). Profoundly disturbing for all of us, especially our daughter who lives in social isolation due to ME/CFS. It broke our trust and our spirits, and we will be out thousands of dollars because
it's too late to get payments back. I'll be missing the first opportunity I've had in 11 years to see dear family, and miss meeting a new baby. I have no suggestions as to you how could agree to work with her, given her last-minute change of plans.

Living out of state 17 hours away from my parents, I learned of a crisis they were having and could do nothing about it last minute. 
My parents can be very difficult stubborn old people stuck in their ways. At this moment, I needed help right then. I interviewed nine people before I spoke to Amie , and just phone calls I can hear the incompetence of many of them. 
As a caregiver myself, I understand what it takes to be a good caregiver. 
Being a personal care attendant like Amie is , gives them better opportunity to better care for the people you’re needing care for. 
I got Amie on the phone. She not only verbally shared all of her experience knowledge and degrees but she also sent them to me in an email that we were speaking without my request.

I was immediately impressed by her and her understanding the gravity of our situation she rearranged her schedule and made it possible for my parents to get immediate care that they needed. 
My parents adored her, and when I say that I say it loud, my parents do not get along with everyone. 
Amy and her partner in business were able to keep my parents, calm, stable and cared for properly. 
Their patience is unsurpassed, their knowledge and abilities were excellent.
My father even bragged about her cooking. 
They stayed with my parents for five weeks while we established full-time care for them through an agency that was chosen by one of my family members. 
Their fee was reasonable and consideration to what they were doing for them and good help is very hard to find
I found both her and her partner very trustworthy, knowledgeable, understanding to the gravity of the situation, and unsurpassed in care!
Not only recommend them that I strongly advise that you stop scrolling through this and looking for other people you cannot find anyone better! 
I will without hesitation give them a five star review for their excellence in care. 
I was very blessed to be able to find them. 
I am positive that if you reach Amie and you wish to have my verbal recommendation, she has my number and I am allowing her to give it to you so I can talk to you about their immense abilities. 
I wish that she lived here where I live so that I can utilize her services when my parents come to live with me. 
It will be hard to find an aid with her qualifications and abilities. 



Amie has been a huge Godsend as a caregiver for my father. We’ve navigated quite a lot of challenges together and her expertise gave my mom and I more peace of mind. Aime came to my rescue, very soon after my husband was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She not only taught me a lot, but supported me then as she continues to do now. Aime is a treasure, she is knowledgeable, very caring, and very reliable. Our journey is long & painful, I know that Aime will be with us throughout.

Amie has been a Godsend and such a blessing to my husband, who has Parkinson's.  I hired her because of her expertese and experience in some tough diseases like this. She took time to sit and talk and get to know us,  I felt heard and understood.  She took great care of him the week I was gone and recognized that he needed to go to the ER, staying with him many hours there until he was seen and then admitted.  She went above and beyond, even taking time to return to our home to see to feeding the cats and was willing to go back to the hospital the next day until i got home if I wanted her to. I got a much needed rest from caregiving and time to spend with son and grandchildren and was fully confident he was in good hands.  Whenever possible she will be the one I call for help in the future- she is a treasure and  an answer to prayer!

Amie was the best thing that happened to us when my Mom needed care. She was so knowledgeable, kind and truly caring. She was always there on time and really helped my Mom engage with the world again. Truly a professional.         I simply can’t  say enough good things about her! 

Hiring Amie was the best decision we made during my sister’s illness. She has all the skills and contacts to assist in caring for a terminal illness. Great communication and very caring. She is tops in her profession. 

Amie is a pro.  We hired her to work with my mom in her final weeks of life, though we didn't know it at the time.  I feel incredible lucky that we had such an experienced and wise expert at our side.  Amie helped us assess everything from how to address complex skin care issues to what my mom needed to stay comfortable when she could no longer speak.  I learned so much (how to flip my mom onto her side using a towel when it was impossible to budge her, how to safely assist her up and down the stairs using a gait transfer belt, and much more).   Amie had a more accurate take on what was going on with my mom at each step of the way than her nurses or doctor did.  She is intuitive.  She was also great at coaxing compliance on meds etc when my mom was difficult. Amie projects ease and expertise all while being fun to be around.  My mom really enjoyed her time with her.  And my entire family is beyond grateful. 

Amie is amazing.  She provided great care for my father as he was dying.  She made sure he was comfortable, and the entire family was more comfortable knowing he was getting the best possible care.  And Amie knows lots of people.  If you need more help than she can provide herself, she can find the people to take care of you.  She even found someone to snowblow my mom's driveway this winter!  My mother's main regret is that she didn't start hiring Amie years ago.

I highly recommend Amie to care for you or a loved one.  She has been doing this for over 30 years and there isn’t a situation she can’t handle whether you’re bed bound or at end stage of life Amie is the one for the job.  She is so personable and easily fits right in.  Anyone who has her as a caretaker is extremely lucky don’t miss out on an opportunity to hire her.
