About Amelia

Hi! I'm Amelia, an experienced private caregiver with a background in psychology, dementia and memory care, disability support, and post-surgical recovery. I provide thoughtful, one-on-one care with an emphasis on independence, dignity, companionship, and creating a calm, comfortable home environment. I earned my B. A. in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and have additional dementia-care training through the Institute on Aging, as well as EMT training. Over the past four years, I've supported older adults and individuals with dementia and memory loss, chronic pain and disability, mobility limitations, and post-surgical needs. My experience includes companionship, personal care and ADL support, meal preparation, transportation, medication reminders, household organization, mobility assistance, and overnight care. I'm warm, patient, attentive, and dependable, and I value building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted presence in my clients' routines.
