About Amanda

I'm Amanda! I am a rising Senior at Marist College. I've always been passionate about working with and interacting with children, I was a Girl Scout for my entire life and through assisting younger troops, took multiple childcare/ babysitting courses and spent summers working summers at a preschool changing diapers and a camp counselor teaching science. In addition, I am a certified lifeguard and Manager at Anchorage Yacht Club, and employ myself by lifeguarding private pool parties for peace of mind around Long Island! I am a nurturing, energetic and kind babysitter. I respect the rules of the house and your children as if they are adults. I am actively engaged in play, and enjoy creating scavenger hunts and obstacle courses (within safety regulations). I have worked with multiple families with children of all ages and enjoy getting to know each child as an individual. Please reach out, I am happy to accommodate any household needs/ specific requests. Best, Amanda
