About Alysa

Hello everyone! My name is Alysa, and I am a babysitter and tutor with over 10 years of experience. In the past, I've worked for both a tutoring company and tutored privately, taught public robotics and art classes, socialized autistic children and improved their independence skills, volunteered in daycare and children's workshop rolls, and more. I also have a degree in sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I took multiple courses in child development. In my daily life, I am a children's book author and illustrator, with two books currently out that focus on teaching children curiosity through simple and fun science lessons. My CPR certification expired this past month, but I am actively working to renew it soon. I am alright with pets and open to working overnight. I do not work with children who are not potty trained.
