About Alondra

Hi, my name's Alondra. I've been a professional nanny for 12 years. I've cared for children from 6 months to 12 years of age. My main responsibilities have been to ensure the basic needs of infants, such as feeding, changing diapers, sleep training and creating an engaging and nurturing environment with the aid of books and toys. Toddlers are full of energy and curiosity. It's a magical time in their lives to learn, explore and simply have fun. In order to successfully implement both learning and fun, I follow a preschool model at home. Over a period of 2 hours, we do circle time and focus on learning our ABC's and numbers. We also practice our preschool and kindergarten skills by doing workbooks and participating in arts and crafts. I've seen young children learn a lot through stories, nonfiction books, and playing games inside as well as outdoors. My favorite part of being a nanny is story time and playing at the park. These are a few ways I've best connected with children.
