About Allison

I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about her! She has been watching my son twice a week this summer, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found her. From the very beginning, she has been warm, dependable, communicative, and so easy to trust. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves spending time with her and genuinely looks forward to the days he gets to go. As a parent, there is really no better feeling than knowing your child is not only safe and well cared for, but also happy and having a great time. What I especially love is how much effort she puts into making their days fun. She is always finding things for them to do, getting them outside, taking them on little adventures, doing activities, and keeping them engaged rather than just keeping an eye on them. She also takes care of meals and snacks, which has been such a nice added bonus and makes things incredibly easy for us. You can tell immediately that her years of experience as both a nanny and a teacher come through in the way she interacts with kids. She is patient, caring, attentive, and has such a natural way with them. Her home-based setting also gives the kids the benefit of a smaller, more personal environment with lots of individual attention. I would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for someone they can truly feel comfortable leaving their child with. She has been an amazing help to our family this summer, and any family who has the opportunity to have their child in her care will be very lucky!
