About Alexis

My childcare experience includes working as a nanny for a family with children aged 1-10. I began as a volunteer teacher in Sunday School. There , I worked with children of different ages and abilities, including autistic students. All of these positions require curation of activities, educational and for leisure. Schoolwork and tutoring services are also up my ally, as a college student with various coursework; combined with a balance of engaging, age-appropriate activities, I work to ensure enrichment outside of screentime. Most importantly, all of the positions listed require an intense amount of patience, understanding, and adaptability. Working with non-verbal Autistic children has truly shaped the way I view the world, the youngest of us especially. I am also happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and travel. I hold certifications in First Aid and CPR, and have completed coursework in Early Child Development.
