About Alexa

Hi! My name is Alexa, I'm 22, and I absolutely love working with kids. I'm a very patient, caring, and responsible person with experience working with children of different ages and needs. I currently work as a Behavioral Therapist (BT) providing ABA therapy, where I help children develop communication, social, behavioral, and everyday life skills. I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, along with experience as a Montessori Teacher Assistant with children ages 3 months-5 years, a tutor for refugee children through FORA, and a mentor for underserved youth through Chicago HOPES for Kids. I'm super patient, nurturing, dependable, and attentive. I love creating a fun and safe environment for kiddos, whether that means playing, doing crafts, reading, helping with homework, or simply spending time together.
