About Alessa

Hi, I'm Alessa! I'm a college student studying Public Relations at Northeastern University who genuinely loves working with kids. I've spent years in child-focused roles and thrive on the creativity and connection that comes with caring for little ones. As a Youth Teaching Assistant at the Smithsonian Summer Camp, I led performing arts and history-based instruction for children ages 6-10 -- and even choreographed an end-of-session talent show! As an Extended Day Aide for Arlington Public Schools, I supervised up to 20 second-graders daily, leading dance, yoga, arts and crafts, and games. I'm patient, nurturing, and great at keeping kids engaged. I'm a former pre-professional ballet dancer, and I also love reading, snowboarding, and everything horses -- so there's always something fun to talk about with curious kids!
