About Abby

I started working in my church's nursery when I was 12 years old and knew immediately that I wanted to work with children for the rest of my life. I have taught preschool to students with special needs and absolutely adored it. I was an Au pair for 1 year in France and a nanny stateside for 5 years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid for infants, children, and adults. I have a BA from Rhodes College in Psychology, Masters in Education from U of M and am working on my doctorate in education there as well. When I am not working I love to do anything outdoors, especially if it involves going to the park. I love animals and frequently take my brothers dog, to Overton Park to play. I also enjoy reading for fun and I am currently reading the latest book by H. I love that Memphis has so many museums and enjoy visiting them whenever I have time.
